SITKol Nawigator is a Java application specially created for mobile phone users. This option enables to plan the journey door to door in an easy way including: timetable, visualisation of a walking tour on the map and receiving real-time train information, possible delays of trains, access to booking a seat in a railway carriage and paying train fare using a mobile phone.

Once selected timetable from chosen origin point to the destination is saved in the memory in SITKol nawigator and can be later opened with no need of connecting to the Internet again. Information is systematically updated.
The user can select one of three language versions: Polish, English and German.

The main menu contains: connection search, timetables of departures, offline timetable, that is connections saved in the mobile phone, list of locations with access to maps, synchronisation of timetable details, user’s setup for SITKol nawigator (language, map size etc.) and help.

Connection search works by entering the origin and destination. In order to choose the point, you can use a scrolled list of locations. If the required point is not on the list, you can enter it and in the next searching session it will be available.

The result of search is shown in a general and detailed view. In the detailed view of a connection there are all sections of the connection given. The user can also see additional information such as e.g. visualisation of a walking tour on the map.

The passenger can download interactive maps of the surroundings into a mobile phone which are available in various levels of enlargement.

In the general and detailed view of the connection you can receive information about the real time of trains, including punctuality, possible delays, train cancellations etc.


Connection search

The user has an option of downloading departure boards from a particular rail station and viewing them offline.

Finally the system will also enable to buy a ticket using a mobile phone (link to BILkom).
